Hair extensions – synthetic hair

Although it’s a proven fact that human hair extensions are superior, this doesn’t mean that we should completely diminish and forget about synthetic hair as a whole. Synthetic hair extensions are made from fake hair strands, this should be pretty clear and straightforward. But nonetheless, synthetic hair of very good quality is modified in such a way that it pretty much resembles natural human hair. Due to the constant technological development, synthetic hair is becoming more and more like human hair. Its texture and overall qualities are becoming almost indistinguishable from natural hair. But beyond that, they are also a much cheaper alternative! Therefore, this is certainly a positive. Still, synthetic hair has its limitations. First of all, they can be fragile and you might need to be careful when treating it with all sorts of hair procedures e.g. blow drying or straightening – don’t forget that you can easily damage synthetic hair, and there’s no way of repairing those. As a whole, these extensions are less durable than human hair. So we can sum up that there are some pros and some cons to this option.
